This quilt started with a panel and a fabric pull of coordinating prints.

I cut up the panel and appliqued the circles onto two layers of background, scissor cutting "circles" around each and clipping away the underneath layer, leaving between 1/4" and 1/2" raw edge around each layer.

Each finished Fox or Friend was then layered onto a background square.

I used the cut away circles from the main blocks to add secondary circles.

After some generously spaced machine quilting and a small amount of big stitch hand quilting on the circles, the quilt was washed, trimmed and gifted. This was a quick and easy way to turn a panel into a custom quilt.

Meet Jill
I'm either an avid quilter or a fabric hoarder.  it varies with how productive my week has been and how messy my studio has gotten.
